[ Yang had moved to the end of the lot of the house she woke up in, to try and get someone's attention, and that plan seemed to have worked. Good! ]

I don't know! [ She repeated this as she faced the other girl. ] One second, I had a dog right here with me, and then I used this thing and — poof! Gone! [ Yang held out her Poké Ball, hand shaking faintly even as her fingers gripped it tight. She was avoiding the button on purpose. ]
