[ It's the crack of dawn. This is definitely the ID number of Weiss Schnee's PokéGear, and that's certainly the heiress herself still in her pajamas on the edge of her bed, but she is wearing quite the unladylike expression. The look on the white-haired girl's face constantly shifts from confusion to fear or even anger as she counts off on her fingers. ]



Four! Four times, I've had my head messed with, and I'm gonna be totally honest with everyone — I'm getting reaaaaaaally tired of these games. I mean this— [ She gestures down at herself. ] —could have ended up a lot worse, but still! It's weird!!

[ "Weiss" huffed, and hung her head for a moment. When she looked back at the camera it's with resignation painted on her face. It went well with her pleading tone. ]



Look. Whoever's responsible, if you fix this now, I promise I won't get mad. Or... want to get even. [ "Weiss" pointed off-screen. ] Any minute now, she's going to wake up in my bruised up body and, you know what? If you think I'm mad, you haven't heard anything yet.

[ She flopped back onto the mattress and sighed. ] This is going to be one hell of a day.

[ ... ] Heck of a day.

[ The girl bolted upright, brow raised. ] Does Weiss even say "heck"?

[That whole waking up thing has definitely just happened, and there is the mother of all freakouts going on a few doors down. Eventually, Weiss will just barge in, and she definitely looks upset.]

[ There is a pointed sidelong glance at the Gear with a quiet "told ya" before she reaches out to shut it off. ] I don't even know. I'm not even going to try to guess at this point. [ Yang shrugged. ] Just when I thought it couldn't get any weirder, they throw this at us.

['Yang' glares hard into the Gear, shaking her head.]

What's the point of messing with us? If it had a point at all, I might be willing to even consider understanding, but as it is...

[ She had to close her eyes. Looking at herself, talking and emoting was just... unsettling. ] I'd still be mad. Less. But. Even if someone was just doing it to mess with us and not as some kind of stupid social experiment, I'd love to pin the blame on someone. [ Another sigh. She scooted back and clutched her knees to her chest. ]

[She sighs, sitting down next to her teammate. It's really, really weird to try and comfort herself, but she's going to try.]

I'd love to pin the blame on them so they know never to do that again.

I'm worried about it getting weirder. I mean, we had a couple incidents before. But this month has been the worst since we got here. [ Everything happening for days at a time, and so close together. All these glitches are getting under her skin in a bad way. ]

I'm worried about it getting weirder too. I'd gladly go back in time to when all we had to worry about were kisses.

[She laughs, a little nervously.]

I just hope this month of weirdness is over soon.

Yeah, really... [ Though she hadn't thought of that specific concern, it was hard not to now. Especially since she was talking about the same lips she had — Okay. Best not dwell on that. 'Weiss' cleared her throat and sat back with her arms propping her up. ] What do we do now? I had plans, but I don't think I can train my crew like this. They won't recognize me, and they aren't good about taking orders from others. [ Yang may have spoiled them a bit, but their personalities tended toward the antisocial and/or loyal types, too. A perfect match for her in charge but not the best for dealing with other trainers. ]

[That makes two of them that are thinking about it, and 'Yang' is finding it much harder to stop herself from blushing than it usually is. She turns her head to clear her throat, then sits up a bit. She might normally fold her arms in front of her, but that feels a little too awkward, given her incredibly different body shape.]

I hadn't even thought of that. My bunch won't recognize me, either, and while they're mostly pretty calm, they would definitely have questions and worries.

[Her Glaceon and Pikachu aside, most of hers tend to be the 'my trainer is best, so why should I bother listening to anyone else?' type.]

I'd say switch, but that doesn't feel right.

[ Meanwhile, her own body language isn't hampered much by sharing the body of her diminutive teammate. Though it's odd that her hair is so... light. 'Weiss' keeps swaying her head side to side unconsciously. ] Hm. If this is going to be over with in a couple of days, it's not worth confusing them. [ A grin crept upon her lips slowly as she gave her friend a sidelong glance. ] We don't want them to end up beside themselves with worry...

Excuse you, that was a flawless delivery! [ She reached up but stopped short of touching the others' forehead. ] And don't smack yo— my face! You wouldn't want me to do that to you, would you?

The delivery doesn't change the fact that the pun was terrible. [She winces a little, nodding.] Sorry. Force of habit is hard to break.

[ She chuckled and hopped off the bed, taking to the middle of the room. 'Weiss' spun around once and gestured to herself as she spoke. ] I have to crack jokes about what's happened to us, else I'd just get really mad. I mean... look at me! I'm so... so... [ What's a good word that can sum this up, without being insulting? She put her hands out wide and shrugged. ] Dainty!

[It's enough to get a chuckle out of Weiss.]

...you're going to want to be careful with the ponytail. Smacking yourself in the face with it is not fun.

And what's wrong with dainty?

There's only one solution. [ And that was to work at taking the hair out of that ponytail. She had tried her best to emulate it with her limited experience of watching Weiss put it up like that, but it just wasn't going to work. ] Nothing! Absolutely nothing. It's just ... not me, I guess. [ With the hair undone, she shook her head to let it fall free. Ahh much better. ] For example, I'm just not going to be able to wear your shoes. I like heels, but those are — what did Ruby call them? Lady-stilts?

They aren't lady stilts. They're platforms, and they don't feel any different from most other shoes. [Says the girl who's so used to them that she doesn't even bat an eye.] ...but I get not feeling like you're you. I'm paranoid about even trying to brush your hair.

Haha, says you! [ She had the same thought about Weiss being used to it, but even though moving in this body was working well for the most part, she didn't trust herself even trying that. ] Oh god you're right, let's. Just. Agree to not attempt that alone, okay? I mean no offense, I trust you a lot! But. A girl has her limits. [ Still recalling when Penny made a valiant attempt at taming the hairbeast. There were many a pulled hairs and knots there. ]

[ For the purpose of identification, Yang sent a text message over asking what the last story Ruby remembered Yang reading her before bed. Even if someone knew her favorite, that specific detail would be hard to pin down. Soon as that was done though, Yang switched back and looked disgusted. ] What? Who's doing that to her?

[And the correct answer is texted back! It may have been ages since Yang last read her to sleep, but Ruby always treasured those times. She'd never forget something like that.]

I dunno, I'm still trying to figure that out! [She huffs, but... it's more than just a pout. She looks legitimately upset.] Whoever it is is saying mean things in Penny's body, and they're trying to tell me that they really are Penny, even though I know her better than that!

[yanginthere]

[ The correct answer is met with a smile, but only briefly since there are other important things to worry about. ] Ugh, that's just great! Do you know who she's switched with, yet? Has she contacted you at all? [ Having her sister upset, and Penny being pranked, is a good way to further tick her off as to how this all was going down. ]

No! And that's what I'm really worried about! If whoever it was she got swapped with isn't all that bad, then she should be okay and letting us know she's okay, right...?

Well... it could be she's just as unsettled about this as others are. I was freaking out before I turned this on. But. If we need to catch up with her body and make them tell us their last known location, then I'm up for it. [ A quick look at a dresser. ] As. Soon as I figure out what I'm going to wear.

[Penny waves her hand in a bit of a criss-crossing motion, trying to indicate swapping of some kind.]

[ 'Weiss' is visibly relieved. ] Oh, thank god you're okay. Ruby was worried sick because we didn't know who to call, or where your alternate body was! [ At the question, she nodded. ] Yeah, we switched places too. I feel you on the height thing, just... the opposite way.

[And shooting a hasty text of explanation off to Ruby.]

[She definitely doesn't eat her boogers, okay.]

I'm sorry for not tell you sooner! I kind of- you know, panicked when I woke up and tried to find John. ...ACTUAL John, not me-John.

[Is she overcomplicating this terminology? Probably.]

And then he made that broadcast looking like me- um, please don't hurt him or anything for that, by the way.

[ She waited for Penny to get all that out before waving her hand. ] If you say so. As long as he isn't doing anything seriously weird with your body, I won't do anything to her — him. [ Okay it IS weird. ] Besides, it's still your body.
