[Ruby's no stranger to suddenly bursting into rooms, so that probably won't surprise Yang too much. What might surprise her is the way Ruby rushes over, wrapping her arm around Yang and planting a kiss right on her cheek.]

Surprise!!

Whoa!! [ The biggest part of that surprise is the way Ruby's weight on her causes her to drop her magazine and slam a hand down into the floor to keep from spilling right over. Yang's laughing all the same, and giving Ruby a look. ]

Someone's in a good mood, tonight. What's the happy news? [ She assumed there had to be a reason for that kind of outburst. ]

I don't need any kind of news to show my sister I love her, geez. No secret motives here!

[Still, her smile is still plastered firmly on her face!]

I dunno, I just... feel really happy today, that's all!

Oh. Oh, I see how it is... [ She reached an arm around Ruby's shoulder and pulled her down into what would be considered an affectionate choke-hold. ] It's only when I do this sort of stuff that you question it, huh?!

Yu--gghk!! [WHY THE HEADLOCKS..] You're the older sister, it's automatically suspicious!

What! Says who?! [ That sounds like grounds for a noogie... ]

Auuugh quit it quit it quit it!!! [She's trying to pull her head out of Yang's grip, to no avail.] The little sister handbook, that's who!!

[yanginthere]

[ It's Yang's advantage this time, but only because Ruby hasn't clocked her. Yet. ] There's no such thing!

You wouldn't know, you're not a little sister!!!

[Ruby may have not clocked her intentionally get, but her flailing means there's a fist flying right at Yang's face riiiight now.]

Would too, since I'd ha—!! [ Her quip was clipped by the sensation of Ruby grazing her jaw with her knuckles. Snapping her head away from the weak blow was enough to make her nearly bite her tongue. Yang's grip immediately goes slack so that she can bring her hands up to touch her own cheek.

It's been a long, long time since she's gotten herself hit without her Aura around to protect her. Honestly, it's quite the weird feeling. ] Huh!

[Normally, decking Yang in the face isn't something that Ruby worries about. Between their Aura and Yang's Semblance, it's never really been a problem, but the way Yang pulls away instantly has Ruby snapping into Serious Mode, and she scrambles around to get a good look at her sister.]

Oh geez, are you okay???

[yanginthere]

I'm fine! It's fine, I just. Wow. [ Yang waggles her jaw and then makes a few exaggerated biting motions. ] See? Barely felt it.

Guess we just have to be a little more careful about roughhousing, huh. [ Her smile is lopsided, for Yang hates to think of being here for years without her given talents in play. ]

That... that's gunna be a weird thing to get used to. Guess that means you can't go wrestling your pokemon, huh?

[Ruby laughs and elbows Yang, but there's still a hint of sympathy in her eyes. Their Semblances are totally different of course, but Ruby knows how weird it is to be without it. She's still quick enough, because she has to stay in shape for her training of course, but it's still weird expecting that extra boost and getting... nothing.]

Oof. Heh. Wanna bet? [ She said with all her usual bravado. If there's one thing Yang absolutely refuses to do here, it's let this place take her down to the first peg. ] Though they're getting off easy. They're still small right now.

[ Here she plants her hands on Ruby's shoulders and grins. ] You, on the other hand...

You think so, huh? [ Yang let go in order to reach to the side and dig for one magazine in particular. This one was geared toward people stuff, and there was one flyer in particular she wanted to show to Ruby; the one advertising a place called "The Fighting Studio~". ] Wanna prove it?

You dare challenge your team leader??? Because of that, I have no choice but to accept! You're gunna go down, sis!

Oh, we'll see about THAT, little sister!

[ Fortunately there is almost zero chance of them demolishing the place trying to fight.
