yeah we got here safe & sound
just hanging out & getting some training done so i dont feel like such a tourist
my pokemon are getting a workout too i guess :P
how about you? everything go okay with that guy?

he showed me around Goldenrod and got me back to Cherrygrove with no hassle
[okay with LITTLE hassle but that wasn't on him]

i mean the jobs are only five days at a time
no commitment if you get into something you dont like
being on my feet and having my hands full is the easy part
memorizing tables is the hardest

honestly it just sounds like sooo much more work then I'd want to do. hopefully there'll be a desk job of some kind to do for a week or so. it'd be boring but boring's welcome.

making someone else fight for me just isnt my style
i dont get how pokemon dont get seriously hurt during these fights either
so many of them are so cute it makes it hard to give the order to attack!

they had games of this back home. Pokemon. so it's easy for me to get into the mindset that you fight with them. this just involves asking them if they want to as well

im used to fighting my OWN battles
and as far as i can tell if i tried to earnestly fight with a pokemon i would get my butt handed to me as i am now

even animals so i guess in theory pokemon here could probably have it

it protects you from getting hurt
some people can channel it better than next guy
especially if they have a greater source of it than the other person
but its not infinite it takes time to recharge
you deplete that in the middle of the fight and

that next hit is all on you

if youre lucky you get some special talent that feeds off your aura
we call that semblance
my sis has her speed
she can zip around faster than anyone i know
comes in real handy for mowing down a pack of grimm all in one shot
or just getting out of harms way
weiss has these things called glyphs
she can like bounce around with them
shoot icicles
speed up time
or maybe she slows it down
shes actually never used it on me i should ask about that...
